How to Create a Consistent Instagram Aesthetic?
If you want to grow your Instagram followers list, having a beautiful and consistent visual content is one of your must-do when creating new posts on this platform. It's also an opportunity to show your brand's unique style and tone. This, along with the right use of hashtags, is one of the best ways to grow on Instagram.
Your Instagram feed is the first thing a visitor sees when looking at your profile, so it's essential to make a good impression. Your Instagram content should be aligned with your business, core values, and brand.
How to Create an Instagram Aesthetic?
1. Look for inspiration. Ask yourself what kind of content you want to create and what do you want to communicate. Always take into account your brand awareness, the personality you want to project with your posts, and your target audience. Take a look around other Instagram feeds. What do your favorite ones look like? Do they have a bright or darker style? What content do they post about?
2. Choose a color palette. Now that you have decided what kind of content you want to create, it's time to select a color palette that matches your brand. Keep colors within the same tone. It looks neat and modern, but most of all, it's more likely your followers remember your brand when they relate it to specific colors and styles.
3. Edit all your photos similarly. In order to grow on Instagram, it's important to be consistent. Bouncing around between too many filters isn't help to maintain a consistent Instagram aesthetic.
The best way to edit your photos is focusing on the saturation, brightness, exposure, sharpen a bit and clarify your pics! You can edit your content with your own phone on the "Edit" option, but if you want to go more pro, my favorite free apps to do this is VSCO and Afterlight. If you want to take a step further, Adobe Lightroom is a great option to edit your photos and create your unique presets. Using Lightroom presets on the mobile app is a quick and easy way to make your content stands out.
Pro tip: When taking pictures, try different angles to see which might produce the strongest Instagram photos vibe!
